Arizona State Football 2026 Preview: Can Kenny Dillingham Survive a Brutal Schedule?

Arizona State football won eight games last season despite losing Sam Leavitt and spending much of the year patching things together at quarterback. Now Kenny Dillingham turns to Kentucky transfer Cutter Boley, a talented but green passer with the size, arm strength and mobility to give the Sun Devils real upside. Arizona State also added Omarion Miller, Reed Harris and Raiden Vines-Bright, giving Boley a receiving corps that could become one of the most dangerous in the Big 12.

Arizona State enters 2026 with questions along the offensive line and at running back, replaces much of last year’s starting defense, and draws a brutal schedule featuring Texas A&M, Texas Tech, BYU, Kansas State and Arizona. Dillingham has already shown he can scheme around roster problems, but can he do it again against one of the toughest slates in the conference?
