George Ferguson, RHP | Texas Commit

Ferguson is the No. 16 prep prospect in the 2027 class. At the 2026 Area Code Games, Ferguson’s fastball sat 94-95 mph and touched 96 with carry that played through the top of the zone, generating three whiffs. His mid-to-high-80s changeup was his most effective offering, combining ample fade with late tumble to produce six empty swings and flashing potential as a future plus pitch. Ferguson also manipulated a low-to-mid-80s slider between multiple shapes, showing both a vertically oriented gyro version and a more sweeping, two-plane look.
