We have a new World Record ⏱ !! Ruta Meilutyte broke the Women’s 50m breaststroke at the 16th FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) 2022.

Lithuania’s Ruta Meilutyte absolutely smashed the world record in the 50m breaststroke with a 28.37, taking nearly two full tenths off of Alia Atkinson’s 28.56 from 2018.
