Real Madrid secured all three points against a well-organised Levante side and broke the deadlock after the break. The clearest first-half chance came in the 33rd minute, when Asencio’s long pass released Mbappé, whose volley went narrowly wide.
After half-time, Madrid increased the intensity: Tchouameni fired over before Arda Güler’s effort from the edge of the area forced Ryan into a save. On 58 minutes, Mbappé converted from the penalty spot after being brought down by Dela.
The second goal arrived in the 65th minute as Asencio powered in a header from an Arda Güler corner. Mastantuono then struck the crossbar from distance, while Ryan produced late saves to deny Bellingham, Vini Jr. and Mbappé.
