The Miami Heat have some very important decisions to make as they continue putting together their roster for the 2026-27 NBA season! 🔥🏀

According to the latest reports, Miami is looking at THREE different players for TWO roster spots — and that could make the final stages of the offseason extremely interesting.

The three names being discussed are Keshad Johnson, Nick Richards and Gabe Vincent.

In this episode of Miami Heat Talk, I break down the situation and explain how I believe Miami could ultimately approach these final roster decisions.

🔥 Keshad Johnson is an especially interesting option because of his history with the organization and his potential fit on a two-way contract. I explain why I believe Johnson could ultimately be the player Miami keeps on a two-way deal and why that could make sense for both the Heat and Johnson.

🔥 Nick Richards is the player I believe makes the most sense for Miami’s final standard roster spot. The Heat need frontcourt depth, and Richards would give Miami another legitimate big man who can provide size, rebounding and interior defense.

🔥 Gabe Vincent is also a fascinating possibility. We know what he can bring from his previous time in Miami, and his familiarity with the Heat organization makes this decision even more interesting.

But here’s where things get REALLY interesting…

WHY IS AUGUST 29TH SO IMPORTANT FOR THE MIAMI HEAT? 👀🔥

If Miami believes Nick Richards is absolutely the guy, they could potentially move forward now. So why potentially wait?

One possibility is that Miami could be keeping an eye on the market and waiting to see whether another player becomes available after teams make additional roster and salary-cap decisions.

That’s why I believe August 29th could be a very important date for the Heat.

Could Miami ultimately sign Nick Richards?

Could Gabe Vincent be the player they choose instead?

Could Keshad Johnson return on a two-way contract?

Could another player become available and completely change Miami’s plans?
