I managed to fly the W in 35:06, but the real stats that mattered weren’t on the clock. The true victory was seeing the DeMoor clan braving the frigid temps. My girls were such little warriors out there in the elements! Between meeting the Yeti, getting high-fives from local legend Bill Rodgers, and having True Love cheering me on, my heart was definitely warmer than my toes. Race Highlights: • The Vert: 300 feet of climbing to keep the lungs burning. • The Save: Navigating the slick spots without a single wipeout! • The Reward: The post-race hot chocolate and cup-o-noodles were a massive hit for the kids (and me).
