TSN Hockey Analyst Cheryl Pounder joins Nick Alberga & Jay Rosehill to break down the Maple Leafs through their first three games of the season.

Pounder explains why she likes the Kirill Marchenko trade and why she believes he’s arguably been Toronto’s best player so far. She also discusses the McKenna-Tavares-Nylander line and whether she’d be open to seeing Gavin McKenna play alongside Auston Matthews.

Plus, Pounder weighs in on McKenna skipping optional skates and skills sessions, the optics surrounding those decisions, and the influence of living with ultimate pro John Tavares.

Then, she dives into the Leafs’ blue line and explains why she’d be aggressive in pursuing more foot speed and mobility on defence. Finally, Pounder gives her early thoughts on Sergei Bobrovsky and the Leafs’ crease.
