How Jim Schwartz mastered building defenses | Move the Sticks

Daniel Jeremiah is joined by former NFL head coach and longtime defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz to discuss modern defenses and the trick to making them work. Schwartz divulges his secrets on how to properly build a defense in today’s day and age and which position is MOST important to have as the foundation. Plus, Schwartz details how defenses should be countering heavy personnel and how he was able to do that when on the sidelines. DJ also asks Jim to share his best stories on Calvin Johnson, Javon Kearse, Matthew Stafford and Myles Garrett, along with getting Jim to reveal his comeback plans.

Plus, producer Jack Foster gives his Foster Forecast outlining five things to watch for in Week 6. Is Steelers-Buccaneers a must-win for Pittsburgh? Can Carolina pick up the impressive win on the road? Which offense prevails between the Packers and Cowboys? Will the Raiders have success against the Bills offensive line? And why Jaguars-Texans is the game of the week. Finally, Rhett Lewis joins for the Week 6 rookie draft.
