Why Did Mets GM David Stearns Hire Andy Green as Manager? | BBTN Pod

Paul “Hembo” Hembekides and Buster discuss Cubs third baseman Alex Bregman reaching out to Buster for help with his facial injury. Then, the guys get into the Mets hiring Andy Green as manager, Hembo’s cautious optimism on Edwin Díaz and Garrett Crochet’s returns, how the Rays turned Freddy Peralta around, Steven Kwan’s resurgence, the Mariners’ disappointing season and what wins in October. Later, Giants broadcaster Mike Krukow stops by to talk about his final week calling games before calling it a career after 36 seasons, Duane Kuiper’s cancer diagnosis, and when Kruk and Kuip will make their final appearance in the booth together. Finally, Buster answers your questions during Bleacher Tweets.
