Australia's Jamie Jack came into this post-season with zero international medals and walked away with five. This included individual gold at the Pan Pacific Champs in the 50 free, where he hit a PB of 21.35, setting a championship record. Jack has been training with Dean Boxall as well as Cam McEvoy, the world record holder in the 50 free, this season, and is seeing success with the duality of philosophies. After winning gold in Irvine, Jack said he wouldn't be focusing on short course world champs in December, but rather experimenting more with McEvoy in the training pool.
