As Cesar Peixoto prepares for Wolves’ EFL Championship campaign opener at Molineux on Friday, Wolves Studios give an insight into the man himself in Cesar Peixoto: The Story So Far.
Filmed during the summer in Peixoto’s native Portugal, Cesar Peixoto: The Story So Far hears from the people who were there to see his development first hand, including Pedro Cunha, journalist and editor of Portuguese football database website Zero Zero, and Carlos Matos Rodrigues, journalist, reporter and commentator for Sport TV, Portugal’s main dedicated television network. The pair discuss Cesar's playing days, his reputation in his homeland and how he handled the transition from player to coach.
There is also an interview with Carlitos, the legendary former winger at Gil Vicente, who shares insight into the enormous achievement Cesar was able to realise with the underdog team.
We also were granted access to the dressing room ahead of Cesar's first game against Port Vale and insight into his early training sessions during the Wolves squad's Algarve training camp.
