Danila Yurov's path to the NHL has not come without hard work and sacrifice. His hockey career started in the Russian city of Chelyabinsk, which he calls his hometown. His parents put skates on him as a kid to keep him active, but quickly they saw a future for him in hockey. At a young age, Danila and his father moved far away from the rest of the family to take advantage of an opportunity to advance his hockey career. Fast forward a few years later and Yurov is hoisting the Gagarin Cup with Metallurg Magnitogorsk as a KHL champion. Now, Danila is making a life for himself here in the United States.
