Zero Torque vs Traditional Putters — We Tested Both
Today we're testing zero torque putters vs traditional putters to see which one actually starts the ball on line.
We taped a line on the floor, hit a bunch of 6 footers with both putter styles, then ran the same test on longer lag putts.
Trevor has a theory about where zero torque shines and where it falls apart — stick around to see if the data backs him up.
In this video we put the zero torque putter trend to a real test against a regular, traditional-style putter. First we focused on short 6 foot putts using a tape line on the floor to measure start line accuracy, then we moved out to longer lag putts to see whether zero torque actually helps with distance control or hurts it. The theory going in: zero torque should help most golfers keep the face square through impact on shorter putts, but on lag putts the heavier, more stable head might make it harder to feel the stroke. We compare both styles head-to-head and break down where each putter wins.
