Who can swim the fastest length of an unusual 33.3m pool?
I’m running a sprint training camp in Malta at Neptune’s Water Polo Club in St Julian’s Bay, where some seriously fast swimmers take on one simple challenge: one length, maximum speed.
The field includes Britain’s current fastest swimmer, a Kuwaiti Olympian and a German swimmer racing at this week’s European Championships. But who will produce the fastest swim over 33.3 metres?
This video includes:
• Elite sprint training in Malta
• The 33.3m pool challenge
• Fast swimmers racing head-to-head
• Sprint technique, speed and underwater work
• The final results and winner
Could you beat their time over one length? Let me know in the comments.
