The Phillies take steps to improve their shaky bullpen

The Phillies on Saturday optioned right-hander Orion Kerkering to Triple-A. He just couldn’t be counted anymore to get outs. The bullpen has been kind of a mess, especially recently. But Dave Dombrowski and Don Mattingly talked Sunday about why they think it can be better in the postseason. Hint: Jesús Luzardo and Andrew Painter could help.
