Babolat revisits the Strike line with the Pure Strike Carbon Grey Tennis Racquets. Each model incorporates the brand's Control Frame Technology, which blends a traditional square cross-section with a more explosive elliptical shape. The Pure Strikes have the thinnest beam dimensions available in a Babolat racquet, and they are geared towards players with long and fast swings who want to bring a little more control to the table. Included models are the Strike 97, which is the heaviest at 10.9 ounces, and two Strike 98 models (one with a 16x19 and one with an 18x20 string pattern) at 10.8 ounces. The Strike 100 (16x20) is also at 10.8 ounces, and the Strike 100 and Team models are the lightest in the lineup.
The most precise is the 97, thanks to the thinner beam and smaller head size. The 98 models get the nod for stability. The Strike 100 16x20 gains stability from the heavier weight, but forgiveness from the larger head size. The Strike model for topspin lovers is the Strike 100.
