The Raiders Have a HUGE Kirk Cousins Decision | Ep. 363

The Raiders are 4-4, Kirk Cousins is playing some of the best football of his career, Fernando Mendoza is still the future—and the trade deadline creates one hell of a decision.

RJ Clifford and Juan Soto debate whether the Raiders should keep Cousins and chase the playoffs or cash in while his value is at its highest. Could the Minnesota Vikings actually give up a second-round pick to bring Cousins back for a Super Bowl run?

We also break down what Mike Washington Jr.’s big workload against the Jets actually told us about the Raiders’ struggling run game, why Ashton Gentry and Washington may be better as complementary backs than competitors, and whether Clint Kubiak has found the right roles for both.

Then things get ugly.

The Raiders defense ranks near the bottom of the NFL in yards, points and rushing defense, and Rob Leonard’s scheme is looking increasingly predictable. Is Leonard already coaching for his job?

Finally, we preview Raiders vs. 49ers and ask whether Las Vegas can possibly keep pace with one of the NFL’s best offenses.
