We're trying several different ways to let BBCOR bats rise to the top. In our last video, we did a one-swing challenge on base hits to try and replicate the game as much as possible. A few didn't like that idea as they felt it was more about the swing and not the bat. Of course, what is a bat if it's disconnected from the swing? But, alas, we carry on.
Next up... we're capturing Exit Velo to find the best BBCOR bat for 2025. But, as many of you will undoubtedly notice, fast hits for most hitters need to be hit on the ground to the hitter's strong side. So, in effect, this video will measure the fastest ground out... haha.
Is that the best BBCOR bat? Those who swear by EV and EV only might have some explaining to do. :) We'll let you decide in the comments. We think it's one good way, but the not the end all be all hence. Hence, the road to the best BBCOR of 2025 continues in our 2nd of 5 videos.
