Who Had It Worse? LAFC vs Sounders Misery Draft (Decision Day Bonus Episode)

Darren welcomes Ari and Noah from Lobbing Scorchers to run a “Who Had It Worse?” Decision Day Misery Draft comparing LAFC and Seattle across on-field performance, coaching, front office, roster construction, vibes, expectations vs reality, soul-crushing losses, emotional damage, and future outlook. Seattle’s case centers on a 13-match winless run, record streaks, massive injury problems, and two humiliating 5–1 losses to Cascadia rivals, plus front-office frustration tied to “built not bought” and limited spending despite finally adding Dejan Joveljić. LAFC’s case highlights a brutal run of form in league play, getting thrashed 4–0 by Toluca in CCC, selling key young attackers David Martinez and Nathan Ordaz, firing the head coach late, and struggling to maximize Son Heung-min and Denis Bouanga despite early-season shutouts. Will this end in a disappointing draw that makes you question why you watched in the first place? Of course. It’s LAFC and Seattle in 2026 after all.
