It’s NFL Combine Time, the Future of Non-Conference Scheduling & Bama Basketball Stays Hot

On this week's episode of THE DYNASTY, Alabama football legend Trent Richardson joins Chris Stewart, the voice of Crimson Tide football and men's basketball, to discuss the 12 former Alabama players headed to the NFL combine. Can Ty Simpson solidify himself as the No. 2 quarterback behind Fernando Mendoza? Could Germie Bernard end up as a first-round pick? What does Trent remember about his experience at the combine? They discuss all of that and more!

Then, the guys dive into the future of non-conference scheduling with the SEC moving to nine conference games. They get into whether it still makes sense to schedule marquee non-conference opponents like Ohio State and Notre Dame, how the College Football Playoff selection committee should treat strength of schedule and if expanding the CFP could actually strengthen the regular season, as Texas athletic director Chris Del Conte suggested last week.

In "Short Yardage," Trent discusses the death of NFL WR Rondale Moore and the Teddy Bridgewater bill, a Florida bill that would allow high school coaches to use personal funds to assist their players. Finally, they react to Bama basketball's six-game win streak to wrap up the show.
