This is the inaugural year of Freetrail’s daily morning show, kicking off with the 20th anniversary of the Ultra Trail Mont Blanc (UTMB), the most important global event in the sport of trail running. The show is hosted each day by professional athlete, Dylan Bowman. Every afternoon, Dylan interviews top athletes and favorites for the races.

Dylan sits down with Courtney Dauwalter & Kevin Schmidt ahead of Courtney’s race at the 2023 UTMB. They are joined by Ryan Thrower who recently ran the Swiss Alps 100 with Kevin. We’ve all heard thousands of pre-race interviews with Courtney and we wanted to do this one a little differently, involving her partner and long-time crew chief, Kevin. They talk about crewing each other, Kevin’s top secret spreadsheets, how Courtney’s feeling after her two hugely impressive performances at the Western States 100 and Hardrock 100 earlier this summer.
