Texas A&M’s first year starting quarterback Marcel Reed is the driving force behind an Aggie resurrection not seen since former Heisman winner, Johnny Manziel. At 7-0 for the first time since 1994, the Aggies stand as the SEC’s only remaining unbeaten team. Reed’s next challenge is to guide A&M to a victory over LSU in Baton Rouge for the first time in over three decades. It was a season ago in a big win over No. 8 LSU in College Station that Reed came off the bench in the 2nd half to spark the Aggies offense – and he hasn’t looked back since. This A&M/LSU matchup is also a family affair, as his sister, Briah, is on the LSU staff as an assistant director of on-campus recruiting.
