The Stanford Cardinal defeated the Notre Dame Fighting Irish 5-4 in penalty kicks to win the 2025 Ally ACC Women's Soccer Championship. Stanford took a 2-0 lead on goals by Allie Montoya and Jasmine Aikey before Notre Dame came roaring back. Sophomore Izzy Engle scored in the 69th minute and then Charlie Codd tied it up with a goal in the 75th minute for the Irish. Neither team could score in the overtime period, so the game went to Penalty Kicks. Charlotte Kohler drilled the game-winner in the 5th round of PK's to secure the first ACC Women's Soccer title for Stanford.
