For one weekend each year, thousands of mountain bikers make the exodus to Downieville - a small mining town deep in the Sierra Nevada mountain range in California. What brings them to this tiny town in particular, you ask? The Downieville Classic - The Official All Mountain World Championships. The Classic is the definitive ultimate mountain bike race that tests all aspects of mountain bike skill and fitness, and offers legendary bragging rights for the winners - it's a bucket list race for countless riders where they can come to test their mettle. A grueling climb leads you into a massive descent that's notorious for breaking bikes and riders alike. This year, we had a big crew of friends all camping and riding bikes together with some friendly competition mixed in. Tune in for a look behind the scenes of the best weekend of the year.
