Living On: The Michael Cammarata Story [EXCERPT] | ESPN E60

With the annual Little League World Series underway, and the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks only weeks away, a new ESPN E60 celebrates the life and legacy of Michael Cammarata, the only player whose number has been retired at the LLWS and the youngest member of the Fire Department of the City of New York ever to die in the line of duty.

Living On: The Michael Cammarata Story, debuts Wednesday, Aug. 19, at 9 PM ET on ESPN, streaming afterward on the ESPN App. The 30-minute documentary follows ESPN’s live telecasts of four LLWS games beginning earlier that day at 1 PM ET.
