Virginia Tech vs. Virginia Game Highlights | 2026 ACC Softball

Third-seeded Virginia Tech advanced to their 5th semi-finals in the last 6 seasons as they defeated in-state rival and sixth-seeded UVA, 3-1. Emma Mazzarone was the star of the game as she dominated on the mound. Mazzarone pitched a complete game going 7.0 innings and striking out a whopping 14 batters while only giving up 1 earned run for the Hokies. Addison Foster paced the hitters for Virginia Tech with 2 hits including a triple with a run scored. Zoe Yaeger and Annika Rohs were the only other VT bats to register hits. Jaiden Griffith scored the only run for the 'Hoos as she trotted in from 3rd base after a walk. The Hokies will next take on second-seeded Duke. .ly/Oqg3iE
