Bryan Cook ended Tuesday’s Bengals practice with a bang.
The veteran safety intercepted Joe Burrow on the final 11-on-11 play of the day and returned it for a pick-six, sending the defense into a celebration to close practice.
Cook has been setting the tone throughout training camp, and after practice he explained the defense’s mentality:
“At the end of the day, we’re a stingy defense. We’re gonna take the ball back as many times as we can… it’s about being aggressive, paying attention to detail, flying around, playing as one, and being my brother’s keeper.”
