Paul Mogford came into golf course architecture from a landscape architecture background. It was after reading an article written by the late great Peter Thomson that, as Paul puts it, "lit a flame". And so began his pursuit to work in the golf course architecture industry.

This conversation with Paul explores some of Paul's work as an architect such as Metropolitan and Sanctuary Cove, and there's a brand new project soon to start. We also explore his partnership in business with Neil Crafter where they would ultimately become Crafter + Mogford, and I have an interesting question for Paul to close out our conversation, which is met with an equally interesting answer!
