Noelvi Marte launched a huge home run Sunday night, adding to a promising start in the Dominican Winter League with Gigantes del Cibao.
Marte is hitting .400 (12-for-30) with three extra-base hits and three stolen bases through seven games. It’s an encouraging start after a disappointing 2026 season with the Reds, when he struggled to find consistent footing between Cincinnati and Triple-A Louisville.
Marte will need to keep building confidence this winter and carry that momentum into Spring Training. He’ll have a chance to earn a roster spot with the Reds in 2027.
