In Dallas, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets opened the 4th quarter on a 13-0 run as they pulled away from the SMU Mustangs on their way to a 67-59 win. Talayah Walker had an incredible game for the Yellow Jackets, scoring 20 of her 30 points in the 2nd half on an uber-efficient 9-13 shooting to go along with 11 rebounds, 7 steals and 2 blocked shots. Catherine Alben added 12 points and Jada Crawshaw chipped in 9 points in the win. Zahra King scored 21 points to lead the Mustangs in the loss.
