Coach Majkrzak: You Don't Need 60 Plays to Have a Scripted Offense
Basketball
Scripting your offense doesn't mean you need 60 different sets sitting in a playbook. Coach Matt breaks down something I think more staffs need to hear: you can script five simple actions, run them in the same order every single game, and still get all the advantages of structure without the complexity.
Where it gets interesting is the corner spacing example. If most coaches just want you to "get the corner," why are some systems demanding you sprint across the floor to a specific spot instead? That's the real debate here, scripted openings versus rigid play calling within the script. Two very different things. #shorts
