In Blacksburg, the Clemson Tigers and Virginia Tech Hokies played a tightly contested game with the Hokies finishing the game on an 11-0 run to come away with a 71-68 win. Trailing by 1 with less than 15 seconds remaining, Tech's Carys Baker took a pass from Carleigh Wenzel and calmly sank the basket in the paint to cap a 9-0 run and give the Hokies the 69-68 lead as they came back from a double-digit deficit to earn the win. Baker and Wenzel each scored 24 points in the win. Taylor Johnson-Matthews scored 16 of her 20 points before halftime, and Raven Thompson scored 12 of her 16 points after halftime as the Tigers built a lead before the Hokies' comeback.
