The Secret To Making Disc Brakes Even Better!

In this video, Alex dives deep into disc brake rotor design and explains how rotor cutouts and contact-patch solidity ratios affect braking performance, heat management, and component longevity. We speak with K-O-M founder Steve Elkins to explore why rotor materials, hole patterns, and resonance frequencies can make or break your stopping power. Plus, we look at innovative rotor designs from brands like Absolute Black and discuss ISO safety standards for bicycle braking.
