Why Great Coaches Focus on Process, Not the Scoreboard
Basketball
Dan Abrahams drops one of the most important coaching principles I've come across: attention on process, not outcome.
The score is just the byproduct. If a player is thinking about the number on the board, they're not thinking about extending their arms, their rhythm, their jump. That's where the stress creeps in.
Direct the attention to the movement solution and the outcome takes care of itself. This applies to shooting a jumper just as much as it applies to anything else in life under pressure. #shorts
