What Should The Rangers Do About Corey Seager? | DLLS Rangers Podcast

Corey Seager is the Texas Rangers’ best player when healthy. He’s their highest-paid position player, whether he’s healthy or not. The Rangers are seeking to be healthier and be younger in 2027, and Seager certainly hasn’t been healthy during his time with the team. Moving on from him could be tricky, as other teams are well aware of the injury history and the salary. He also has full no-trade protection. But he’s good when he feels good, so a suitor might be out there. The Rangers would also have a long-term in the system in top prospect Sebastian Walcott. Seager was not a Gold Glove finalist this year, but four of his teammates were.
