2026 Texas Rangers City Connect Anthem
The Texas Rangers 2026 City Connect reimagines familiar elements of past Rangers uniforms while celebrating the influence of Mexican culture on the state whose name we proudly wear. And whether you say our state's name with an X or a J, we're talking about the same place – and how proud we are to call Tejas home.
Visit Rangers.com/CityConnect to learn more about the jersey design and how we reimagined our traditional elements.

ABOUT THE JERSEY
TEJAS: With a letter style inspired by our uniforms from the '80s, the name across the front celebrates "Tejas," a word rooted in the Caddo language meaning "friend"— reminding us that we are united as Texans and that baseball invites everyone into that friendship.
RED: The return of our beloved red uniforms is reimagined with Cochineal red
— a sacred crimson dye derived from the cochineal insect that is profoundly significant in Mexican culture, both historically and symbolically.
BLOCK T: The classic block T on our cap, dating back to our team's origin in 1972, is reimagined with a raised weave that honors the rich motifs and craftsmanship of Mexican artistry.
PAPEL PICADO: Our iconic state shape comes to life on our sleeve in papel picado - an homage to the traditional Mexican folk art of cutting intricate designs into colorful tissue paper, representing celebration and joy.
CHARRO INSPIRED PATTERN: The interlocking T and fill patterns are inspired by the intricate embroidery found on our Mariachi de los Texas Rangers trajes, designed to honor the style of the charros.
¡VIVA TEJAS!: A rallying cry grounded in Texas identity and pride, and the name of our lively post-game celebrations. Long live Texas!
