Virginia Tech vs. Oregon State: Playing at the Paradise Jam tournament in the Virgin Islands, the Hokies defeated the Beavers, 78-67. Virginia Tech had 21 assists on 29 made field goals. Hokies' Mel Daley scored a game-high 24 points on 10-12 shooting. Carys Baker finished with 20 points, seven rebounds, and two assists. Carleigh Wenzel added 13 points, six assists, three rebounds, and two steals.
