HUGE UPDATE🚨 MIAMI HEAT TARGET JORDAN HAWKINS?! ELITE 3-POINT SHOOTER AVAILABLE!

The Miami Heat should be taking a serious look at Jordan Hawkins! 🔥🏀

Jordan Hawkins and the Memphis Grizzlies have mutually agreed to part ways, making the former No. 14 overall pick available to find a new home after clearing waivers. Memphis had acquired Hawkins from the New Orleans Pelicans just weeks ago.

In today’s episode of Miami Heat Talk, we’re breaking down why Jordan Hawkins could be an intriguing addition to Miami’s roster.

Hawkins’ biggest calling card is his ability to stretch the floor and knock down three-point shots. He came into the NBA as a highly regarded shooter after starring at UConn, and at 6’5”, he has the size to play alongside multiple guard/wing combinations.

The question is whether Miami could help unlock the offensive potential that made Hawkins a lottery pick in the first place.

We’re talking about:

🔥 Jordan Hawkins becoming available
🔥 His elite shooting potential
🔥 Why Miami could use another perimeter shooter
🔥 Hawkins’ ability to space the floor
🔥 His scoring upside
🔥 His UConn background
🔥 What went wrong in New Orleans
🔥 Why Memphis decided to move on
🔥 Whether Erik Spoelstra could maximize his game
🔥 How Hawkins could fit alongside Tyler Herro, Bam Adebayo and Miami’s young players
🔥 Whether the Heat should pursue him before another team does

Hawkins averaged 5.1 points, 1.7 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 51 games during the 2025-26 season, while shooting 34.8% from three over his three-year Pelicans career.

So the big question is:

SHOULD THE MIAMI HEAT SIGN JORDAN HAWKINS? 👀🔥
