Tennessee senior Gui Caribe swam his final SEC dual meet on Friday, taking the win in the 50 free and placing 2nd in the 100 fly against Georgia. Caribe also swam on UT's winning 200 medley (18.2 anchor) and 400 free (41.82, 2nd leg) relays. After the meet, Caribe expressed his excitement heading into his last NCAA post-season, specifically for SEC's which will be at Tennessee.
The Brazilian Olympian has lofty goals, looking to break the 40-second barrier in the 100 free and the 18-second barrier in the 50 free, as well as his former teammate Jordan Crook's NCAA record (39.83, 100 Free).
