Clemson Edge Will Heldt | 2026 ACC Returning Players To Watch

Edge defender Will Heldt was selected to the 2025 Third Team All-ACC after leading the Clemson Tigers in both sacks and tackles for loss. Now Heldt is back with Clemson for 2026 and he is expected to be one of the leading edge defenders in the ACC. He received an 87.8 pass-rushing grade on true pass sets by PFF, the 14th highest score in the Power 4. Heldt was also a contributor to the Clemson run defense, receiving a PFF score on 77.9 on run defense. He will be looking to top his totals of 48 tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss, and 7.0 sacks, as he leads the Tigers to a bounce back season. Clemson's Will Heldt is one of the returning ACC players to watch during the 2026 football season.
