Mayu Ishikawa vs Pimpichaya Kokram | Japan vs Thailand | Crazy Volleyball Match !!! Thailand faced Japan in the semifinals of the 2026 AVC Women’s Continental Championship, with a place in the final at stake. What followed was a stunning four-set victory for Thailand: 25–21, 25–20, 20–25, 25–20.

Thailand took control early, winning the first two sets and putting Japan under enormous pressure. Japan refused to surrender. Led by captain Mayu Ishikawa, they fought back to take the third set and keep their hopes alive. But Thailand held firm in the fourth, finishing the match 3–1 and earning a place in the final against China.

Ishikawa was the match’s top scorer despite the defeat, delivering 23 points for Japan: 19 attacks, three blocks and one ace. On the other side of the net, Pimpichaya Kokram led Thailand with 20 points, including 19 attacks and one block. Sasipaporn Janthawisut added 16 points to help Thailand complete the victory.
