According to Thierry Henry himself, they work! We’ve talked a lot about these ON prototype boots over the last few weeks, but there’s a few more things to note. The Lightspray upper is THAT THIN, at least through the mid-foot where you can see the color of his socks peaking through. Although it’s interesting to note that the material is also more built up, and thicker through the forefoot, toes and heel area, because those areas aren’t translucent. I think it’s also very interesting, and promising to note that the upper has enough structure to be able to wear them without tying the laces tied. Granted, this is his thing when plays now, it’s not that serious, but I think it’s still a meaningful observation given that structure has been a concern for many based on how the boots look. Sorry for the long winded breakdown, but I’m really enjoying learning a little more each time we see these out on pitch!
