Goodison Park, 1920 - 53,000 fans crammed in to watch a womenās football game. A day earlier, only 35,000 had attended Everton menās game against Arsenal.
Womenās football was popular, and there were teams up and down the country. Yet it didnāt kick on. It wasnāt allowed to kick on.
