Novara came out firing from the very first point, dominating the opening two sets with aggressive serving, solid blocking, and highly efficient attacking. They took full control early on, winning the first set in convincing fashion (25–12), followed by another strong set (25–20) that put Alba Blaj under serious pressure.

To their credit, Alba Blaj responded in the third set, showing resilience and determination. They managed to disrupt Novara’s rhythm and took the set 25–20, keeping their hopes alive and proving they were ready to fight until the end.

However, Novara quickly regained control in the fourth set. With their offense clicking again and their defense stepping up at key moments, they closed the match confidently (25–17), securing a crucial 3–1 victory and a big advantage heading into the second leg.

Tatiana Tolok and Mayu Ishikawa was once again the standout performers, leading Novara with amazing points and delivering powerful spikes and important blocks throughout the match. Her performance set the tone for the entire final series.
