The Demon Deacons defeated the visiting Catamounts, 60-49. Wake Forest dominated the game down low, outscoring Western Carolina 32-12 inside the paint. All 10 Wake Forest players who got in the game scored. Grace Oliver and Mary Carter each scored 13 points for the Demon Deacons. Carter also grabbed seven rebounds. For Western Carolina, Ally Hollifield scored 17 points with seven rebounds and five assists.
