Travis Green on Daniel Alfredsson & the Battle of Ontario

Ottawa Senators head coach Travis Green joins Nick Alberga & David Pagnotta ahead of Saturday night’s season opener against the Toronto Maple Leafs in the first Battle of Ontario of the season.

Green discusses the excitement of finally getting the season underway, Ottawa’s injury concerns, and the decision to name Thomas Chabot captain.

He also talks about Daniel Alfredsson facing the Senators for the first time since joining the Leafs’ coaching staff, saying, “I want nothing but the best for him personally. I can't say that about the team he's coaching for.”

Plus, Green reacts to the league-wide shockwaves from the Kirill Marchenko trade and reveals some of his keys to victory for Saturday night’s matchup.
