Sam Williamson of Australia had a historic post-season after what he thought could have been a career-ending injury. In April 2025, a freak accident in the weight room rendered Williamson out of the pool for months. With his first race since the injury being in February of this year,
Williamson surprised many by not only performing at the Pan Pac Trials in Australia, but then going to the Comm Games and sweeping the sprint breaststroke events, and THEN going to Pan Pacs and winning gold in the 50 breast and bronze in the 100 breast. Hear what Williamson has to say about navigating this season and building resiliency through this devastating knee injury.
