Max Verstappen’s bizarre Nordschleife crash course explained
Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen spent his weekend off having to prove he was competent enough to race on one of the toughest circuits in the world.
Verstappen had to take e-lessons, drive behind a specialised instructor and race in a Porsche GT4 car that was detuned by around 125 brake horsepower versus his rivals.
This was all part of one of the most remarkable weekends of 2025 as Verstappen tackled a race on the Nordschleife in the real world for the very first time.
Our latest video explains all you need to know about it.
