The Largest Game 7 Comeback in NBA History π³
On May 19, 2024, the Minnesota Timberwolves delivered one of the most shocking comebacks in NBA history. Trailing by 20 points, Minnesota stormed back to outscore the Denver Nuggets 60β37 in the second half, winning Game 7, 98β90, to advance to the Western Conference Finals.
Jaden McDaniels (23 PTS, 6 REB), Karl-Anthony Towns (23 PTS, 12 REB), and Anthony Edwards (16 PTS, 8 REB, 7 AST) led the charge for Minnesota, combining for 62 points.
For Denver, Jamal Murray (35 PTS) and Nikola Jokic (34 PTS, 19 REB, 7 AST) combined for 69 in the loss.
Minnesotaβs 20-point comeback is the largest in a Game 7 in the play-by-play era (since 1997β98), making this one of the most unforgettable playoff moments ever.
