Syracuse outlasted a tough, hard-fighting Clemson team and came away with the 68-64 win. With a 66-64 lead, Shy Hawkins calmly made 2 foul shots with less than 5 seconds remaining to put the game out of reach. Sophie Burrows had a fantastic outing, scoring a game-high 19 points on 9-16 shooting, including 1-3 from three-point range along with a career-high 16 rebounds, 2 steals and a blocked shot. Laila Phelia added 17 points while Mia Moore and Taylor Johnson-Matthews each scored 17 points in a losing effort.
